My dream is to set a trend and represent India internationally, in the mainstream music space through my bagpipes," Archy added. "I just want people to explore the potential of this instrument.

Her video version of popular TV series Game of Throne's theme music also earned her major recognition. "That video was hard but it was a great experience, I also introduced the 'Naagin' melody in it," she added. Her most popular video so far is called 'Dubstep', which is a inspired from ACDC's, a popular Australian rock band's track called ' Thunderstruck' and has received more than 4.5 lakh views. She works on her own compositions with her producer, whom she met due to her old musical interests. Currently, Archy has more than 10 videos and over 9000 subscribers on her Youtube channel called "The Snake Charmer". This small trip helped her a lot to relate with her own progress and identify a vision. That's when, in the April of 2014, she flew to Scotland to for a five-day crash course in bagpipes from National Piping Centre.
"I wanted a teacher to tell me that what I have learned, was correct and give me a direction," she remarked.

After spending about two years, imbibing through the book, Archy reached a critical point, where she no longer knew how to venture any further. "I e-mailed a lot of people who could help me understand the technical intricacies of the instrument, but to no avail," she added. However, in her process she began researching for pipers and veterans who can play the instrument and help her in the process. She purchased a book and self-taught herself the instrument which is considered to be one of the hardest to learn. "I was disappointed that there were no musical institutions or personal trainers who could impart lessons in bagpipes, hence I decided to break the monotony and learn it on my own," she said. Having decided, Archy researched frantically to understand what she wanted and was keen to learn, but could not find a teacher. We have been taught to perceive them in that light, so I wanted to change that," she said. "Bagpipes have always been known as sad, disciplined and very upper lip instruments. In a moment of pure fluke, Archy saw a Youtube video of a popular European band where a band member was playing bagpipes in a new fashion, which struck her fancy. Until she discovered bagpipes for the good. I had accepted that I am only a vocalist and cannot play," she added. My parents and family always encouraged me to pursue my skills and gifted me guitars and a keyboards, but I could not never learn them. "I used to sing, since I was really young.
Archy, used to perform in an alternative metal band called 'Rogue Saint', until it dismantled in 2012 and she finally found a chance to introspect and decide a musical ambition for herself. She incorporates bagpipes into different musical genres and creates her unqiue renditions through them. "I basically create my own model through bagpipes by using the clay of popular existing music," she said. Currently, recognised as India's only commercial female bagpiper artist, using the instrument to create and reflect, versions of existing popular songs, and transforming their appeal through bagpipes, she has carved a niche for herself among the knackers of old school music.
